Even so, that's not a tone to argue with. Ezra sits, a pit of dread forming in his stomach. The tone is one he only recognizes from the false memories of his adopted years with Qui-Gon, and while he knows that they never happened, he's learned that there was still enough truth in the details to trust what his gut says about that tone. He's in trouble.
But what did he even do?
For a second there's a blank look on his face when Qui-Gon begins - up until he mentions the eopies. As far as he knows, there are only two eopies in the whole of the world, and they belong to Obi-Wan. He winces at the reminder of the confrontation, almost shrinking down into his seat.
But Ezra's never really been one to cow under at the first hint of scolding, so instead he flushes and crosses his arms defensively.

"I already apologized for that."
